From the day I met my husband he talked about building, repairing and owning guitars. He played then and still does now, but not as much. I actually miss that. His many years of knowledge has made him the "go to" guy when people have guitars questions. From building and repairing them to to which is the best starter guitar and even specific questions about guitar models - the latest being about the gibson les paul standard model.

I love seeing his eyes light up when someone starts talking to him about music and guitars.

This picture signifies one of my favorite moments from the day CJ and I got married. The boys did not wear suits so there was no lapel pin to fuss with but my mom did get them boutineers to wear.

Here is CJ pinning a boutineer on to Wyatt's shirt. It was difficult, the boutineer was rather top heavy but CJ got it on and it stayed put.


It was a really nice day. Simple yet full of special moments. That is exactly how I pictured it would be.

I am a big believer in more is better. I am sure all those “quality is better than quantity” people are starting to argue already, but I am just stating how I feel. I have always wanted to have all the channels any television service offers, but it is pricey. Luckily, I found direct tv deals and now have access to every single channel. It is amazing how something so small can make me so happy.

I obsess about things like this. I always want to have every option available. I think it goes back to McDonald’s happy meals. When I was little, I always wanted to get all the toys. The commercials would come on television and the next day, I wanted a happy meal in hopes of getting all the toys in the collection. My parents probably should have realized I had a problem then, but instead they helped me get all the toys. They were great parents, but looking back on my childhood, there are things I wish had gone differently. Helping my obsessions is probably one of the big ones.

CJ thought Dante would love a drum set for Yule and well, CJ was right. However, I am already feeling like I could kill him fir making that decision, LOL. Dante was trying to learn but then lost his patience/focus and now just makes noise...I should have just gone to the yoyo store and gotten Dante what I wanted to in the first place!

But he does look cute at his drum set and he really does love it. Ahh, the things parents do for their kids!

We got some snow in October last year and then nothing until this weekend. I think we have been very lucky so far. I am just hoping the rest of the winter is not brutal to make up for the lack of winter weather.

As long as the birthday flowers I got for my friend's birthday this month as still able to be delivered, I am happy. I won't get to see her for a while so I thought instead of giving her a gift when I see her I would just have some pretty flowers delivered.
