I cannot believe it's already going on the end of July! My silly peanut starts 1st grade! Of course, she says she is not going to go to first grade because she just doesn't want to!

I know in first grade they do more public speaking. I wonder if she feels a bit of speech anxiety when she talks in front of the kids at school. She seemed okay with 'show and tell' in Kindergarten. For some reason though, going to 1st grade bothers her and I'm not sure why.

We're working on her not being so shy too. She has such potential but lacks confidence sometimes and then gets shy.
